![]() ![]() So while this may be acceptable in USA it probably wouldnt be in EU. In EU you are not allowed to ask someone to sign away their legal rights! ![]() If the agreement was signed prior to the purchase then this may be deemed to be acceptable but even then probably not. Namely you are signing away your right of ownership of something that has been legally purchased and is unused at point of agreement of the EULA. The current EULA are asking you to accept what would be deemed to be unreasonable in law. This hasnt happened as yet as if it was challenged in EU then the ELUA would be offically declared as illegal. If they charged for ACR upgrades I would have no problem with purchasing new versions of ACR but they dont! Stupid Adobe. They can stop allowing you to use a subscription version by switch off the accreditation server. I dont mind Adobe offering both Perpetual License and Subscription but I dont want them telling me that it is their property which it isnt if I have purchased it even though it implies this in the EULA for the Perpetual License. If Lightroom goes to subscription only then I will drop it also as I have a copy of Phase One Media Pro. To this end I have moved to using Capture One Pro for my RAW processing (current vetsion v9.1 does not support XPro2 RAW) but I use Lightroom 6.5 for my images DAM. I too use Photoshop CS6 and refuse to pay a subscription for my software. You can use a RAW processing softwares such as IridientDeveloper, Lightroom to output the image in TIFF format and then edit in Photoshop CS6. There are several avenues open to you that allow you to output a high quality image that can then be edited by Photoshop CS6.
